Kevin S Henson, CRNA
Kevin S. Henson is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Specialist in Vilas, North Carolina. He serves as Senior Director of Surgical and Anesthesia Services in the Appalachian Regional Healthcare System.
He graduated with honors in 2000. Kevin has more than 19 years of diverse experiences and was lead author of a recent, published study concerning comparison of selected outcomes with different postoperative analgesic approaches in patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty.
Heather J. Rankin, CRNA
Heather J. Rankin is a CRNA at Children’s of Alabama, located in Birmingham, Alabama where she has practiced since 2006. Heather received her DNP from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Heather currently serves as AANA Treasurer following two previous years as Region 7 Director and Board liaison to the Council on Accreditation. Heather has also served on the AANA Public Relations Committee and on the AANA Government Relations Committee. She has been active in the Alabama Association of Nurse Anesthetists in many roles since 2007 and was ALANA President 2010 – 2011.
Heather was recognized by Samford University Ida V. Moffett School of Nursing as one of the inaugural Living Legacy recipients in 2012 and serves on the Samford Nursing Advisory Panel. She received the DNP student award from UAB at graduation. Heather, her husband, Wes, and their energetic boys enjoy sports, the beach, and spending time together outdoors.
